TechBee – HCL’s Early Career Program was a transformative journey for me, beginning immediately after completing my Class XII. This journey has been a crucial chapter in my early tech career, sparking my interest and passion for technology. Moving from signing up to, actually being a part of HCLTech was a big step. It is a dream come true for me.
I still remember the first day of my CRT. It was a turning point for me. The subjects were aligned with what the industry needs, covering everything from basic computer knowledge to problem-solving. I not only learned technical skills but also improved my soft skills and professional etiquette with engaging and interactive sessions fostering both technical expertise and crucial communication skills. The journey was not without its challenges. Rigorous assessments and quiz tested my mettle, pushing me to strive for excellence. Classroom sessions evolved into incubators of innovation, laying the groundwork for the practical application of theoretical knowledge. The shift from classroom to internship was a significant leap into the real world. Working on live projects and interacting with clients taught me responsibility and adaptability. The final part of my journey took place in Lucknow, where I stepped into the role of an Analyst at HCLTech. Leaving my hometown Bokaro was a significant part of the journey, and the shift to Lucknow was not without its difficulties. However, the experience of being an Analyst made the transition worthwhile. Transitioning from a trainee to a professional was smooth, thanks to the comprehensive training. The workplace expanded my learning environment, helping me evolve as a tech professional.
Reflecting on this one-year journey, TechBee program emerges as not just a stepping-stone but also a transformative passage into the dynamic world of technology. It is a testament to HCLTech’s commitment to nurturing young talent, providing a platform where passion meets proficiency. Not only did it propel my career, but it also played a pivotal role in supporting my financial condition and positively influencing my family life. The excellent infrastructure provided exposure to working with foreign clients, adding a global perspective to my skill set. From the initial enrollment to the current role as an Analyst, the journey has been nothing short of incredible – a journey that defines the essence of my early tech career.
Balancing work and hobbies has been a crucial aspect of this journey. Amid the demands of training and working, I have consciously carved out time for personal interests such as photography, reading, and fitness activities. This balance has not only contributed to my overall well-being but has also proven beneficial for maintaining productivity at work. It underscores the importance of a holistic approach to life, where both professional growth and personal fulfilment coexist, creating a more fulfilling and sustainable career journey. Currently, I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree from BITS Pilani in Design and Computing while working at HCLTech Lucknow. I am grateful to the company for this incredible journey, and also my team and the fantastic work culture that has made this experience even more fulfilling.
