Contrary to the general perception that you need a conventional graduate degree to get a job, TechBee - HCL's Early Career Program, is an exclusive job program for individuals looking for full-time jobs after Class XII, thereby making them financially independent. Candidates undergo 12 months of training for entry-level IT Services and Digital support roles. This is a hybrid training program that focuses on both the overall education of students and grooming of their personality - making them industry-ready.

Given the phenomenal success of the program in India, the program is now available across Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, the Americas and Canada.

Important Instructions for Applicants

Mathematics/Business Mathematics is mandatory with min 60% marks for IT roles only
Applicants must be Indian residents who have successfully passed the Class XII board exams in 2023 & 2024 and candidates appearing in 2025.
In case of 2 mark sheets (original and Improvement) being produced by the candidate for the same class i.e. Class XII, all subjects with the latest marks will be considered for calculating percentage or above irrespective of any board recommendations
TechBee is offered by HCL Training & Staffing Services (HCL TSS) which is a subsidiary of HCLTech and an approved training partner of National Skill Development Corporation and pursuant to that our services are exempted from GST vide notification No.12/2017 - Central Tax (Rate) dt 28-06-2017
Applicants with 80 percentile & above in IIT/JEE mains (2023) will be exempted from HCL CAT. They can directly appear for Versant and interviews. The cut-off marks criteria for Class XII will be applicable for all.
Candidates with 80th percentile & above in IIT/JEE mains (2023 & 2024) will be eligible for the Techbee Selection process for IT roles. They need to attain the minimum board’s cut off marks as per above table along with 60 marks in Maths. However, they won’t be required to appear for HCL CAT and may directly take versant & interviews.
CTC should be in line with the minimum wages of the state.

Job Details

Upon successful completion of the training, you will begin working as a full-time Associate or IT Services professional with a starting salary of ₹ 1.96 – 2.20 lakhs per annum respectively.

A basic career aptitude test consisting of quantitative and logical reasoning

A face-to-face interaction with HCLTech selection committee to prove your mettle

A test to check language skills including spoken English

Classroom Training

Duration: 6 to 9 months

Candidates undergo 6 to 9 months of rigorous classroom training, during which they learn the fundamentals of IT, including programing languages and relevant industry tools, processes and certifications. The amalgamation of technical training along with communication and personal grooming lessons ensures that HCL TechBee scholars metamorphose into industry-ready working professionals.

On-The-Job Training

Duration: 3 to 6 months

The next 3 to 6 months of the program are focused towards On-the-Job Training where candidates work on live projects at HCLTech, and become ready for their full-time roles. Scholars who successfully complete HCL TechBee Program join HCLTech as IT Engineers.

Higher Education

Duration: 3 to 4 years for UG Program

While working as a full-time employee at HCLTech, candidate enroll in work-integrated higher education program. HCLTech has partnered with Amity University Online, BITS Pilani, IIIT Kottayam, KL University and SASTRA University to offer industry recognized higher education programs, through E-learning curriculums.
